    From 50,000 words written in six months to a 2000-word essay delivered in a few days and 500-word news items delivered within hours, I deliver text on time while ensuring that the text sings with accuracy.

    Photos

    Whether on set or on location, I produce photo shoots both large and small. I prepare thoroughly to put my subjects at ease, resulting in honest portraits.

    Video

    I make documentary style videos that capture grand events, such as university commencements, and intimate moments, such as one-to-one interviews. Regardless, pre-production planning puts subjects at ease and post-production editing is where the magic happens.

Approximate Fees

    • Text services generally cost $1 to $2 a word, depending on the project scope. Content use will also play a role in the estimate, i.e.-commercial, nonprofit, or personal. Editing services run approximately $75 an hour.

  • Photography fees average $300 an hour with a two-hour minimum. Costs vary depending on the scale the project, whether equipment rentals are required, and assistant fees. Post-production Photoshop edits cost $100 an hour.

  • Video generally costs $1500 for one day of shooting, depending on the number of cameras needed, equipment requirements, production scale, and location. Editing is an additional $750 to $1000 per day.

  • A conservative estimate for this project would be approximately $3000, with additional costs for transportation and assistant fees, brining the total to about $3500.

Large Production Video Example

  • This is just one of ten videos. The production was shot in a studio with extensive lighting and set design. With ten other professors being interviewed, the pre-production took several days to organize utilizing project management platforms to keep the team up to date. Post-production edits were split between two editors that I project managed. The entire production from start to delivery took approximately one month.

  • Bearing in mind that this is one of ten interviews conducted over two days, with at least two weeks worth of edits, a conservative estimate for a project this scale would be about $15,000. Half the size, in time and interviews, could be about half the cost.
